Terms of Service
Effective August 4, 2026
These Terms govern your use of TeK-ME, operated by Tekniwell Inc (“Tekniwell,” “we,” “us”). By using TeK-ME, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
What TeK-ME is
TeK-ME is an exam-preparation study aid for the Journeyperson and Master electrician licensing exams, built on the NEC 2020 blueprint. All practice questions are original items written by us — they are not real exam questions and are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or reproduced from any licensing body or exam provider. TeK-ME is a training tool, not a substitute for the official code book, your adopted code edition, or local amendments. Always verify against your jurisdiction's adopted edition.
No guarantee of results
Passing a licensing exam depends on many factors outside our control. We do not guarantee that using TeK-ME will result in a passing score. Any pass-guarantee promotion we may offer is subject to its own separately stated terms and conditions.
Accounts and unlock codes
- Purchasing a plan gives you an unlock code that activates paid features. Keep your code private — you're responsible for activity under it.
- Accounts are passwordless: we email you a one-time sign-in link. Keep access to your email secure.
- Don't share, resell, or publicly post access codes, and don't attempt to bypass the paywall or access features you haven't purchased.
Payments, billing & cancellations
- Prices are shown at checkout. One-time plans grant access for the stated period; monthly plans renew automatically until you cancel.
- You can cancel a subscription anytime through the billing portal linked in the app; cancellation stops future renewals and access continues through the paid period.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. Refund requests are handled per the terms shown at checkout — contact info@tekniwell.com with any billing question.
Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse TeK-ME — including by copying or redistributing our questions or content, scraping the service, reverse-engineering it, interfering with its operation, or using it unlawfully.

Disclaimers
TeK-ME is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We don't warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that content is complete or current with every code edition or amendment.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tekniwell Inc will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or lost opportunities, arising from your use of TeK-ME. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
